  • Can I mail in an application to the Chinese Consulate?
    • No, you must submit the application in person. However, you can have someone represent you, like Master Visa Service, or a trusted relative or friend.
  • Can Master Visa Service submit my application to Chinese Consulate?
    • Yes, if the applicants are residents in the jurisdiction for the Chinese Consulate of Chicago. Although, individuals applying for an Employment Visa must apply in person at the consulate. The Chicago jurisdiction includes the following states:
      • Colorado
      • Illinios
      • Indiana
      • Iowa
      • Kansas
      • Michigan
      • Minnesota
      • Missouri
      • Wisconsin
  • Do I have to send you my passport?
    • Yes, we need the original passport because your visa is a document that is attached to your passport. Make sure you have signed your passport before applying for your visa and that it has at least 12 months before it expires. Passports with less than 12 months left on their passports are not eligible for Chinese Visas
